Do I need a credit card to start?: No. The Free tier is free forever — no card, no commitment. You only enter billing details if you upgrade to a paid plan.
What's the difference between the tiers?: Each tier gives you a monthly transaction allowance — quarterly filers get 3× that for the full quarter. Free gives you 50/month, VAT Essentials gives you 150/month, Growth gives you 300/month, and Professional is unlimited. VAT Essentials and above also include email reminders.
Can I switch tiers later?: Yes — upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.
How does annual billing work?: Annual plans are billed once per year and save you 15%. The price shown is the monthly equivalent (e.g. BSD $55.25 billed annually = BSD $663 / year for VAT Essentials).
Do you handle the actual filing?: No — ClearFile prepares an accurate, OTAS-ready return. You submit it manually on the OTAS portal. We are not affiliated with the Department of Inland Revenue.
